Becky Bettesworth Supports the Angels Ball in Torquay
The Angels Ball in Torquay is held every year by the Rotary Club Babbacombe and St Marychurch and raises money for local charities. It is always a pleasure to donate one of my prints to the silent auction. This year the chosen charities are The Lions Barber Collective (www.thelionsbarbercollective.com) and Farm Able (www.farmable.co.uk).
The Lions Barber Collective is a collection of barbers which have come together to help raise awareness for the prevention of suicide, the biggest killer of young people in the UK, three quarters of whom are men.
Farm Able supports veterans, emergency service personal and their families who have suffered trauma, post traumatic stress and other mental health issues, by providing a therapeutic programme based on rural crafts and skills.
The ball will be held at the Imperial Hotel, Torquay on Saturday March 30th from 7pm until late and tickets are £40; to include a welcome drink, a full three course meal, with tea /coffee as well as plenty of live entertainment throughout the evening, as well as a silent auction."
