Caring for your Product

We pride ourselves on the high standard of our products and ensure that everything that leaves the Studio is sent out to the highest standard possible. This covers printing and packaging.  Unfortunately, we cannot be responsible for the products in transit (please see our returns and refunds page for this information).

A2 and A1 prints will arrive rolled in a large cardboard tube. A1 prints will have a layer of paper rolled into them to protect the print and are printed to order on giclee artist paper. We recommend that you take great care when removing your artwork from the packaging and unrolling it and keep handling to a minimum. We cannot be responsible for any tears or damage sustained at this point.

All framed artwork is made with a white grained wooden frame.

If your product is framed by us and sent by courier we use acrylic rather than glass due to insurance and safety purposes and procedures. Please note that acrylic has the same properties as glass so will reflect light if placed opposite a window or in direct sunlight.  If you feel that this would be an issue then we suggest that you get the print/poster framed yourself using a non-reflective glass as this is something we are unable to offer.  The artwork is dry mounted before being bespokely framed to order, and the issues below should not arise.

If you are framing your own print/poster, we highly recommend for you to dry mount it as this will help to keep the quality of the product over time.  Becky's prints and posters are printed on a paper product which has the characteristics of being affected by direct elements that it comes into contact with.  We advise that it shouldn't be situated in direct sunlight as this will affect the colouration of the product.  It should be in a consistent temperature avoiding extreme differences in room environment as this may cause buckling of the frame or paper to occur.  Damp environments may cause issues to your product over time.

We strongly recommend to preserve the longevity of your poster that you get it professionally framed to avoid these issues.
