Becky loans her artwork to 'Wish You Were Here' vintage Seaside exhibition

“The Kingsbridge Cookworthy Museum exhibition “Wish you were here” has been a great success with nearly 2,000 visitors coming to explore the history of seaside holidays in the South Hams. It was great to be able to bring the seaside holiday up to date, by showcasing the work of Becky Bettesworth in our exhibition. Becky is inspired by the railway travel posters of the 1920’s and 1930’s, and has created new iconic images of destinations in the South West. We were able to display a vintage Railway poster alongside Becky's posters of Burgh Island, Salcombe and the South Hams, which helped to bring the exhibition full circle. It was also lovely to be able to have some of Becky’s prints in the shop, so visitors could take home a bit of the South Hams with them.”
