Breast Cancer Research Fund Charity Ball - 14th October 2023

I was recently contacted by Dr Katrina Cathie MBE, who was diagnosed with breast cancer, aged just 41.  Katrina said "My treatment and care at University Hospital Southampton was second to none, all possible because of the first-class research on which treatments give the best outcomes. However, there is still so much to research about breast cancer, which is why she is dedicating 2023 to fundraising for breast cancer research, to improve outcomes for our mothers, wives, sisters and daughters and their families.”

Katrina is organising a glittering gala Autumn Ball which will take place on 14 October 2023, during Breast Cancer Awareness Month and she is aiming to raise over £50,000 and all proceeds will go to the Breast Cancer Research Fund, which is managed by Southampton Hospitals Charity (registered Charity number 1051543).
