Commission for Lionsgate Film On Chesil Beach

I was thrilled to have been approached by Lionsgate after seeing my work online to commission me to produce a promotional poster for the film On Chesil Beach.

They sent over a brief for me to produce a bespoke poster which captures the look and feel and sentiment of the film.

This design has been printed on a limited run and will be used for promotions. Framed posters are now on display in 7 Picturehouse sites in and around London and A3 prints will be offered to customers as a free gift when they buy tickets for the film on the opening weekend (May 18- May 20).

Lionsgate will also be running online competitions to win posters signed by myself and the key cast.

I was delighted to be asked by Lionsgate UK to help bring to life this extraordinary novel through my art.

Chesil Beach is such an iconic stretch of the Jurassic Coast and together with my love of producing vintage seaside prints, this commission has truly allowed me to explore my passions on this very exciting project.

Adapted from the acclaimed novel by Ian McEwan, this powerful drama stars Saoirse Ronan and Billy Howle, whose vastly different upbringings shape their seemingly hopeless desire for intimacy as they embark on their honeymoon in Dorset.

The book is tinged with such sadness of a love lost but the moment I have captured in the artwork is the one of their love for each other.

It has indeed been a pleasure to work on and endorse this British film".
