Ilsham C of E Primary School Visit
Well, I was close to tears a couple of times during my visit to Illsham C of E Academy primary school.
The whole school had completed an art project based on my Artwork themed ‘Love where you Live’ and I went in to see their creations and had the very hard job of judging, choosing some winners from each class.
The artwork they had produced was incredible, so bright and colourful and I felt quite overwhelmed seeing their take on my pictures, and what they had created – it was really beautiful.
Well done to all the students, staff and Headmaster.
It is SO important to see the arts in primary schools and I feel so passionate about it. So much so that I will be rolling out an art incentive project on my website for all primary schools to access, free of charge.
Being dyslexic, art was so important to me at primary school (as some of my life-long friends will know, I was pretty rubbish at all other subjects and I had to work so hard, art was my thing, always wanting to be an artist when I grew up!) If I can help and inspire any young budding artists, who were just like me …. then that would be amazing.
The young children at Ilsham Primary School had worked really hard and their art was simply stunning, they should all be very proud of themselves.
The Free art incentive project will be available to all schools and I am hoping to launch this on my website in September 2022. If you would like to be on the mailing list for this please do contact us at info@beckybettesworth.co.uk
