I had the absolute pleasure of meeting the children from Canada Hill School last week. The children have been doing an art project based on my artwork and they invited me in to have a look at their creations. Wow - what an amazing and talented group of young people. It was delightful to see the children so happy and confident with their artwork. As many people know, I am dyslexic and as such I was not particularly academic at school. I loved art and knew that being an artist was what I wanted to do. It was just brilliant to see the children being celebrated for all their strengths and not just their academia. Congratulations to all the staff and children at Canada Hill for a terrific art project. Keep on following your dreams and strive to be the very best you can be.
