Schools Community Art Project

Aย  celebration of creativity in Schools

๐Ÿ’— ๐Ÿ’—๐Ÿ’—

ย I have had a really creative week which I am wanting to share with you.

ย I am almost ready to share my new artwork that I have been busy working on, but for now I am wanting to share this community schools art project idea with you and see what you think?โ€ฆ

ย I am so proud of the travel posters I have created over the years and I am thrilled that these bring so much love and joy to people of all ages and I hope they will continue to do so in years to come.

As you know I am passionate about the arts, especially in education and I have done many school visits where the children have used my artwork to create their own amazing seaside and travel posters.

It is an honour to be part of this and incredible to see the children's creativity as budding artists shine and their confidence and identity grow. I would love to build on thisโ€ฆ.

I get asked a lot for my travel posters of specific beaches and places around the country and there was a comment the other day on social media saying โ€˜There donโ€™t seem to be any prints of Suffolk and Norfolkโ€™.ย  This is true!

Unfortunately, I can't visit every school and it got me thinking how I could support more schools with their creative art process. I am therefore thinking of creating a school community project, where we could produce stunning artwork together?

I could send out videos and helpful tips and advice and teachers would have an art project ready for the school to run with. I could also create my own poster of that area too.

So I am putting it out there to see if any schools around the country would like to get involved?ย

Please share and mention it to any teachers, schools or children and if interested please do get in touch by email via

The incredible designs above are from Barnes Voluntary Primary School in Newton Abbot, Devon.ย  They have been looking at my designs and studied my work to create their own favourite travel poster artwork.

They arrived though the post and it brought a tear to my eye to see their amazing artwork. Wow really really well done to all the children who took part. Your use of colour, shapes and structure is absolutely brilliant.ย

You inspire me!ย ย
