The English Riviera Steam Train Print and Poster by award winning Devon artist Becky Bettesworth celebrates the mighty Goliath on the Dartmouth Steam Railway, crossing Hookhills Viaduct with Broadsands beach huts below and Torquay in the far distance.

The Majestic Hookhills Viaduct is next to Churston and is located in the Borough of Torbay, England, which is also known as The English Riviera, with its Torbay Palms and mediteratian climate.

A very popular holiday destination and it is always a magical sight to see or to travel on the glorious, enchanted steam train. Much of the railway's business is from Summer tourists from the resorts ofTorbay who travel to Kingswear, where the Dartmouth passenger ferry takes them across the River Dart to Dartmouth.

Becky is very proud to live in Torbay and it is always a thrill to hear, smell and see the steam train go past, hugging the beautiful coastline and passing the waving holiday makers and families on the beach. It really is the most wonderful place to live and I hope this splendour and beauty is capsulated in the artwork.

Vintage style retro quote poster created by award winning Devon artist, Becky Bettesworth.  Her quotes and vintage style travel posters and seaside prints are reminiscent of the 1930s railway travel posters. I was inspired to create this artwork by a wonderful photograph I saw taken by local photographer Chris Slack http://www.chrisslack.com

Please note for the Chocolate gift set the design on the chocolate packaging may vary.

Becky's work draws inspiration from the classic railway posters of the 1930s. Her vintage seaside posters are modern and fresh, showing a place off at its best, without the fuss and rush of the modern world.
