Greenway Landscape travel poster and seaside print by Becky Bettesworth.

Greenway Landscape is part of a series, created by award-winning Devon artist Becky Bettesworth. The former home of world-renowned crime writer Agatha Christie, now managed by the National Trust is the perfect setting to depict a bygone era. This is Becky's only landscape picture and it forms part of her Greenway series.

Becky has captured a lady sitting on a bench on the banks of the gardens, wiling away some quiet time watching the sailboats drift by on the River Dart. The calm and mellow mood is reflected in Becky's choice and use of colours. Since exhibiting her series of Greenway pictures in the Spring of 2013, Becky's career has been expanding ever since around the local areas she loves.

Meet the Artist
Becky's work draws inspiration from the classic railway posters of the 1930s. Her vintage seaside posters are modern and fresh, showing a place off at its best, without the fuss and rush of the modern world.
