I was thrilled to be asked to design the poster for the 2022 National and European Cadet Championships, 23rd July - 5th August. I felt honoured to create it especially as the event is being held in Torbay and I feel very proud of our beautiful bay and love where we live.

The Cadets are a class of smaller sailing dinghy boats designed for children and young people up to the age of 17. So I really wanted my picture to be playful and have the youthful quality in the colours and composition. The pastel pink and blue colours and fun spinnaker sails and a silhouette of a palm tree representing the English Riviera.

There are competitors taking part in this event from around Europe, including Ukraine and I felt that it would be a nice gesture and acknowledgement to add a Ukraine boat within the picture. I will be donating £1 from the sale of each of these posters to The UNICEF Ukraine Crisis Appeal, which helps to support children affected by the Ukraine conflict.

This picture is the launch of my new range of event and sporting posters, alongside the Plymouth Sail Grand Prix which was another prestigious commission which I was delighted to create.

Inspired by the coastline

Every piece grows out of the Devon coast Becky's walked for over twenty years, capturing the colours and moods of the British seaside.

Made, packaged and shipped with care from her studio

Every order is prepared by hand in Becky's own studio, not a warehouse, with the same care that goes into the art itself.

Meet Becky

Becky paints from her studio in Devon, with the coastline running through everything. She made her name with vintage-style seaside travel posters, and now creates handmade resin pieces built around love and connection.

Before turning to her own studio, she trained at Bath School of Art and spent years as an award-winning art director in London, going on to exhibit in London galleries.

Materials, Framing & Care

Materials

Printed on high-quality artist paper, true to the original colours and detail of each piece. A1 prints are made to special order on giclée paper for the sharpest possible finish - please allow up to 7 days lead time for these.

Framing

Every frame is made by hand to order, so framed pieces take 10–14 working days to despatch. Crafted from white grained wood with an optional double mount, and glazed with acrylic rather than glass for safe transit, giving the same look without the breakage risk.

Caring For Your Piece

Keep your print or poster out of direct sunlight to protect the colours, and avoid rooms with big swings in temperature or damp, both of which can cause the paper or frame to warp over time. If you're framing it yourself, dry mounting and professional framing are both great options.
