Sandbanks travel poster and seaside print by Becky Bettesworth. Becky's vintage style prints and posters are reminiscent of the classic 1930s railway travel posters.

This artwork was inspired by a photograph taken by Lee DiMarco Photography and Lee kindly gave me permission to use his picture for inspiration. When I first saw it all I could see was the shape of a seahorse. I had never noticed this before and I fell in love with it. Sandbanks is a small peninsula crossing the mouth of Poole Harbour. Sandbanks Beach has fine golden sand and beautifully clean sparkling waters. It is the perfect place for a family day out to the seaside and wonderful for sandcastles!

Sandbanks beach is naturally beautiful all year round and offers spectacular views towards Studland and Old Harry Rocks and on a clear day, you'll be able to spot the Isle of Wight. This is a fantastic place to take a stroll, particularly during the colder months. With vibrant cafes and bars, you can just sit back, relax and watch the world go by whilst enjoying the beautiful panorama. For the more energetic there are places to play sport, do watersports, swim, sail, and surf.

It is easy to see why this beach has been the winner of the Blue Flag award for over 30 years and with its soft golden sands and breathtaking views, it is no wonder that Sandbanks is considered one of Britain's best beaches.
