Isle of Wight travel poster and seaside print by Becky Bettesworth.

Becky Bettesworth's vintage style prints and posters are reminiscent of the 1930s railway travel posters. Isle of Wight forms part of the award-winning artist's seaside and travel poster collection.

The Isle of Wight is a small and well loved island situated just off the south coast of England accessible by ferry. The island is diamond-shaped and extends 22.5 miles (36 km) from east to west and 13.5 miles (22 km) from north to south. It has wonderful beaches and historic seafront promenades which are dotted with vintage beach huts. It is a favourite holiday and sailing destination for many with it's warm climate and beautiful views.

On the island’s western point, The Needles are 3 huge, white chalk rocks, guarded by a 19th-century lighthouse.  The island is separated from the mainland by a deep strait known as The Solent and this is extremely popular for sailing.  The famous Cowes Week Sailing Regatta is always a special time on the island and and provides a great opportunity to see the colourful sailing boats racing along.
