Pink Horizons

I painted Pink Horizons during my art retreat in Tuscany in April 2026, inspired by the vast skies and rolling countryside that seemed to stretch endlessly before me.

Rather than painting the landscape exactly as I saw it, I wanted to capture how it felt. Soft pink skies meet vibrant fields and expressive textures, with bold palette knife marks creating movement, depth and energy across the canvas.

This piece is a celebration of freedom, imagination and the beauty of seeing the world through emotion rather than reality. Every colour was chosen for the feeling it evokes, not simply what existed before me.
